Freebie Alert: Free Reusable Earth Week Tote from Target & More!
Posted on April 16, 2010
Earth Week begins April 18 and ends with Earth Day festivities on April 22. To celebrate and bring more awareness to his "holiday"
Target stores will give away 1.5 million reusable bags with purchase on April 18, the first day of Earth Week, in collaboration with Tide, GE and Coca-Cola. This exclusive resuable bag is made from recycled plastic bottles and comes in a pretty green color, of course. Keep in mind that quantities are limited and there are no rain checks. Target also limits one tote bag per guest.
Target also offers other ways to celebrate the Earth and "go green" year-round. Did you know that for every reusable bag you bring in and use in stores, Target gives you 5 cents off your purchase? Seems like small change but that money adds up! Paper or plastic? No thanks.
And thanks to their partnership with Terracycle, you can
turn five plastic bags into $1 toward a reusable one at Target anytime! Here's how:
