I did a double take at Target this morning… casually pushing my cart past the purse section my eye caught a familiar glimpse of a black and white tag with “double h’s”. To my delight, Hayden-Harnett has collaborated with Target to sell their handbags! December 28th was the launch date and even though many knew it was coming, it crept up on me so quickly that I was startled… and thrilled!
Hayden-Harnett and it’s designers, Toni Hacker and Ben Harnett, have partnered with Target to sell limited-edition handbags, some being online exclusives, now through March 15, 2009. Hacker and Harnett founded Hayden-Harnett in 2005 in Brooklyn and now sell to the finest stores and boutiques in the world. Their handbags feature unique hardware, custom prints and fine leather to create beautiful pieces and now you can purchase their handbags, hobos and clutches at Target-like prices ranging from just $19.99 to $49.99. The Canvas Flight Tote, pictured above, is just $49.99. This is great for the budget-minded shopper. You can purchase a coveted Hayden-Harnett handbag for around $50 instead of $500; be stylish without breaking the bank!

Nice bags. I am glad to see alums from Eastern Kentucky University doing so well. There are lots of EKU grads that have made huge impacts on the world!
