Circuit City Inventory Clearance – All Stores Closing
Posted by missmelon on January 17, 2009 in Daily Deals
It’s official, Circuit City was unable to raise sufficient funds to remain in business. Therefore, they will be closing all stores by the end of March. As a result, Circuit City has begun liquidating all merchandise starting today, January 17th. While there aren’t specifics on what the discount percentages will be, reports are stating that the lines and crowds are looking very similar to Black Friday.
Pulled from their press release:
Liquidators will start arriving in our 567 stores across the U.S. over the weekend, and closing sales will start as early as Saturday, January 17. Closing sales will run as long as it takes to sell existing inventory, but are expected to wrap up by the end of March. When the liquidation sales are completed, the stores will be closed.
For more information, please check out the official statement here.
If you have a free weekend and are intereted in getting a great deal – I’d recommend you heading down there early in the day.
