Shop Green: Toting Eco-Friendly Umbrellas

Posted by Beryl on November 20, 2008 in Eco-Friendly

After two weeks of rainy afternoons, I made my way to Target’s online store to buy an umbrella. Once my basket was full of everything but an umbrella (as what typically tends to happen when shopping at Target), I came across what I had gone online to find while looking through the selection of eco-friendly products. As luck would have it, I found a perfect, eco-friendly, made from bamboo and recycled materials umbrella.  Even the shaft if made from 70% recycled materials. Large, sturdy, and of course, right in my price range, I ordered it and, two rainy days later, love it. Made by Totes, the umbrella comes in different colors and measures 44-inches in diameter, large enough to keep anyone dry!  Eco Umbrella by Totes – $17.99
