eBay Coupon Alert: Holiday Promotion + Live.com Rebate
Posted by missmelon on November 14, 2008 in Daily Deals
Starting this month, eBay will be releasing millions of coupon codes to select groups of buyers. If you’re selected, then you should receive an email that has your eBay username and the eBay coupon code. However, I have found that oftentimes, this email will end up in the spam filter so the best thing to do is check your eBay My Messages in-box. The upside is that these coupons are not unique. The downside is that they will only work if you’re selected. This can lead to confusion as to what works and what does not. To alleviate this confusion and because I know we all get tons of emails and promotions during the holidays, I will post eBay coupons as I find them. Also, now is a good time to make sure that the email on your eBay account is the same as the one associated with your PayPal account.
The first eBay coupon code is: CHOLIDAYTECH. Use it to save 10% (up to $100 in value) on all consumer electronics. Therefore, this is a great time to buy a new digital camera, HDTV, Apple iPod or GPS system.
Lastly, eBay and Microsoft’s Live.com have partnered up to offer a 25% rebate on merchandise. This only valid for US eBay accounts. I’ve seen a lot of eBay sellers offer this rebate, but found it a bit tricky to follow.
Here are the steps you must take in order to take advantage of this eBay rebate:
1) Sign up for a Live Search cashback account here.
2) Search live.com for the product that you want.
2) Click on eBay’s sponsored link. Keep in mind that not all products will qualify, so you may not see an eBay sponsored link.
3) Buy the product – it has to be an eBay buy-it-now item that needs to be paid via a Paypal account. You can get a total of $200 in rebates.
4) The cashback will be available for redemption 60 days after purchase.
