Mabel’s Labels Cyber Monday Sale

One of our favorite new finds is a Canadian based online store called Mabel’s Labels. Mabel’s Labels carries all of the necessities that a mom never realized that she needs (but now can’t live without)! They carry innovative baby clothes labels, household labels, stationery, and child safety products. And what makes their already reasonable prices even better? Starting at midnight on Sunday, they are holding a Cyber Monday sale which gives you 50% off select items!

Their durable, iron-on clothing labels and shoe labels help ensure that all of your kid’s belongings make it back home with them.

They also carry a wide range of sticky labels to label anything from sippy cups to spoons to school supplies, limiting the amount of germs spread at school or daycare.

My favorite product is their “Mama Card” – a sort of business card for moms with your info that you can give to other cool moms that you’d like to see again. This is great for setting up a play-date or getting a daycare referral.

KB Toys Black Friday Sale: Midnight Madness

Black Friday Shopping Tips

Good news for bargain shoppers! It’s less than a week till the big day: Black Friday! Named because it is the day companies typically are in the black; that is, the day they have turned a profit for the year. Black Friday is undoubtedly the best day of the year to shop till you drop.

But alas, Black Friday can be disastrous unless you have it well planned out. Overcrowded stores and chaotic parking lots are certainly not for the faint of heart. You must be dedicated to your mission. While early bird specials have been a tradition for shoppers for years, many stores are experimenting with midnight madness for a younger crowd. Of course with the booming internet market, shoppers are now able to click their ways to savings.

1) Decide where you’re shopping. Be it online or in store, plan in advance which stores you will be stopping at.

2) Be there, and be aware. Set your alarm clock nice and early to ensure you beat the rush. If you’re shopping midnight madness, drink an extra shot of espresso Thanksgiving Day to keep you energized all night.

3) Online shoppers can open up windows to each of their favorite retailers so they’re open and ready to go when the sales begin.

4) If you’re headed to the mall, carpool with friends and family. Have your teammates keep their eyes out for things, and do the same!

5) Remember that the holiday season is about love and giving; don’t compromise these ideals by competing with other customers.

Get in before 10 am and save 50% off of all sale merchandise. After 10 am, save 30% off of all sale merchandise (up until 12/2). And for you early EARLY shoppers – good news, most stores will be open from midnight 11/28 to 10 pm 11/29.
