Boscov’s Store Closures – A Big Plus To Consumers

In August, it was reported that Boscovs Department Store filed for bankruptcy due to sales reduction and lack of investors’ funds. As a result, it is in the process of closing stores at 10 of its locations:
- White Marsh Mall in Baltimore, MD
- Marley Station Mall in Glen Burnie, MD
- Owings Mills Mall, Owings Mill, MD
- Monmouth Mall, Eatontown, NJ
- Harrisburg East Mall, Harrisburg, PA
- Oxford Valley Mall, Langhorne, PA
- Monroeville Mall, Monroeville, PA
- Montgomery Mall, North Wales, PA
- South Hills Village, Pittsburgh, PA
- Piedmont Mall, Danville, VA
Unfortunately, workers will lose their jobs. But on the bright side, consumers will greatly benefit. They will find incredible savings on a wide assortment of men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel, electronics, and home furnishings.
