Urban Outfitters has unlined journals on sale in store for $1.99 and online for $4.99 each (orig. $10). Made in the United States using 100% post consumer recycled paper. They are manufactured using green energy and without the use of acid or chlorine. I got a bunch to give as gifts to my environmentally-conscious friends, and a few to keep myself. This is also a great addition to your back-to-school list so that you can jot down your brilliant ideas on saving the world.

I also picked up It’s Easy Being Green, which was on sale for $7.99 (orig. $12.95). It’s a quick read and has over 250 “eco-tips” to cultivate a sustainable enviornment. What I like about this book is that it’s meant for busy people…busy people who’ve been thinking about doing something for the environment, but hasn’t for whatever reason. This book is not only informative, but also helps you in planning and executing a greener lifestyle with.
