Over 50,000 online merchants use Vendio's services to sell over $150 million in merchandise each month. In November of 2006, Vendio acquired the assets of long time competitor, Andale, to further solidify its position in the online sales management industry. Despite while achieving 21 quarters of positive EBITDA since 2002, Vendio has also continued to invest aggressively in new initiatives such as Dealio and Widgipedia, both of which are innovative leaders in their industry and are expected to pay off handsomely in future years.

Vendio is headquartered in Silicon Valley with offices in Bucharest, Romania and Bangalore, India. Vendio is privately held and backed by Lighthouse Capital Partners and MVC Capital.

Dealio Community: Comparison Shopping & Deals Online
Founded in August of 2005, Dealio marked the first major investment by Vendio in an industry other than Sales Management. The Dealio team was given nothing more than a simple set of instructions - to create services that help shoppers find the lowest prices faster and easier than any current method at the time.

The Dealio Comparison Shopping Toolbar was born out of this vision and officially launched in November of 2005. Significant cash investments were made in 2006 to advance Dealio Toolbar features and to increase consumer adoption. In just over a year, the Dealio Toolbar was installed on over 2.5 million consumer machines.

Vendio continued to invest heavily in Dealio with a major build-out to Dealio.com, and in November of 2006 the company launched the Dealio Community, which hosts consumer-posted bargains stemming from coupons, rebates, price matches, and more on virtually any product or service.

Investment in Dealio continued when in April of 2007 the company introduced a completely revamped Dealio.com v3.0. The Web site allows consumers to compare prices on virtually any product while seeing relevant steals in line with store and eBay results. The mix ensures that consumers find the lowest prices along with the latest rebates, discounts, and coupons available for the products they search for.

In May of 2007, Dealio Toolbar v3.1 launched with support for Windows Vista and Mozilla Firefox.

Web widgets & desktop widgets - Widgipedia Officially launched in February of 2007, Widgipedia.com was conceived and constructed by a team of widget enthusiasts at Vendio while developing what is now one of the world's most popular Web widgets, Vendio Gallery.

As awareness, demand, and usage of widgets accelerated throughout 2006, Widgipedia.com took shape as a leading destination for developers to publish widgets and for consumers to download them. Widgipedia.com became the first site to support every widget platforms for every type of engine, including Yahoo, Google, Apple and Microsoft, as well as all types of widgets, both for the desktop and the Web.

The site has expanded further to include developer community forums, code samples, "engine" information, and a variety of helpful hints compiled from the Vendio team and other widget experts. In the future, Widgipedia.com will better connect widget developers, publishers, and advertisers to provide value for their efforts in growing the widget community.
